ENFIELD, CONN. — The application period is now open for Farm Credit East’s Farmers’ Market Grant program. This annual program provides small grants to Northeast farmers’ markets to support their promotion and development efforts. Interested farmers’ markets must apply by May 31.

NEW YORK - The Farm Credit System today reported that combined net income increased 15.9% to $2.0 billion for the first quarter of 2024, as compared with $1.7 billion for the same period of the prior year.

Farm Credit East Provides Scholarships to Support Agricultural Education

Farm Credit East recently awarded $33,000 in scholarships to support 22 Northeast educators’ attendance at Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) institutes this summer. CASE institutes provide educators with training and resources to teach CASE curriculum courses to high school students.
