Farm Credit East Presents 2020 Dairy Outlook Webinar

The last several years have been a challenge for many Northeast dairy producers. Although dairy prices were higher in 2019 than in recent years, there is uncertainty going into 2020 given recent trade policy and milk marketing developments.

Farm Credit East’s 2020 Dairy Outlook was held January 15, 2020. This free, one-hour webinar was for producers and others involved in the industry to gain insights on the state of the Northeast dairy industry, and what to expect in the coming year.

The Director of Dairy Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Mark Stephenson, presented his economic outlook for dairy markets in 2020. He covered regional, national and international markets, as well as what the coming year may bring for Northeast dairy producers.
