Farm Credit East Board Seeks Financial Expert

Farm Credit East is seeking a Financial Expert to join our board of directors as an Outside Director. As an outside director, you'll bring your independent perspective and expertise to help guide Farm Credit East towards continued success.

Key Qualifications

1. Outside directors must not have direct or indirect connections with the Farm Credit System. They may not be directors, officers, employees, agents or borrowers of any Farm Credit System institution or be an immediate family member of any of these.
2. The Financial Expert should have a strong financial background with 5+ years experience in public accounting or a similar field.
3. They must have a commitment to integrity, ethics and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

The position requires attendance at six in-person two-day meetings annually, along with virtual committee meetings, review of materials before meetings, special assignments and a commitment to professional education requirements.
